Description
we are switching from AdMob to Playwire as our primary ad publisher to improve ad fill rates and overall revenue performance.
Requirements
Maintain AdMob Configuration
Do not remove existing AdMob setup.
Implement a toggle mechanism (via API call or build flags) to dynamically switch between Playwire and AdMob. This ensures we can revert to AdMob quickly if needed.
Implement Playwire Ad Units
Footer Ad Unit
Should replicate the behavior and layout of the current AdMob footer ad.
In-Feed Ad Units
Small rectangular ads matching the size of listing cards.
These should appear inline within the listings feed as the user scrolls.
Should be in every 10th slot. 9 listings then 1 ad…
Documentation Access
Playwire’s integration docs are behind a login. I’ve downloaded the relevant pages, let Tony know if you need access to other pages. Opening the files directly is the best way to view them.
Please let us know the best way to implement the toggle feature, should we add an api call? or can it be done at the app level.
Another note, we might remove the footer banner in the future if the in feed rectangles preform well enough, keep this in mind when completing this ticket
